How do I get rid of the smell of moth flakes?

In science class I've been doing labs and had to leave my notebook and papers in the drawer with my powdered substances (one being moth flakes, yuck!). I finished up the labs the other day and took the papers and notebook and put them into my school bag. Since I had been in the classroom I was already used to the smell for the time being due to the fact I was stuck in there for 80 minutes. However, when I got home and opened up my bag, the smell was so overpoweringly disgusting and I was wondering how I could get rid of the stench? Would perfume or lysol do the trick?
