Is there a way to keep my dogs from rolling in stinky stuff outside?

I know it smells just dandy to them, but some of the flowers and different plants falling onto the ground smell horrific. I try to watch them when I let them out back but I can't always ensure they won't start rolling around. I hate giving them baths ALL the time. I've tried those doggy wipes but they don't knock out the stench.
