What is your thought on this about a spider? What do you think it means? Dream or my fear?

Ok, last night my husband and children and I went to the river to fish up some cats. After a while of no fish bite'n just the darn mosquitoes,(the millions of fireflies flickering was amazing though!!) the kids all strapped in and waited on us. Of course it is dark, use'n a flash light on the ground aiming up @ the tips of the poles just waiting for a hit. I see by my feet, in the light of the flashlight a huge spider(I AM TERRIFIED OF SPIDERS).. This spider was brown, had 6, yes 6 legs,which was odd since arachnids have 8 legs, and he was praying on a white may-fly for dinner. So , I had enough and sat in the truck with the kids. So later on, bed time! I went to bed and I have no clue what time it was. I was asleep then i woke and seen a HUGE spider run from my pillow toward my husband.. Of course i screamed "Wake Up, Huge Spider come'n @ You." so my husband jumped up and he looked through every thing and there was nothing. So of course I went back to sleep, then later i awoke again seeing the spider leaven my pillow to the edge of my side of bed. Again i freak out and wake my husband up..He looks and nothing. I have had other times when I would wake and roll over and think I see something. My mind might still be in dream mode, I have seen things from light orbs to shadows. So I thought maybe with the spiders lastnight i was still in dream mode. What do spiders mean in life and dreams? What is your thought on this?
