What does placidus Orbs mean in the astrology chart?

My husband both have Cancer at 13 degrees Placidus Orbs. I have it in the 5th house, he has it on the ascendant. Him 13.37, Me, 13.57. Can anyone explain what this means? What do these degrees mean?
